It’s time for a new twist on an old show. Dating in the Dark is a dating show which is breaking out of the box and taking preconceived notions with it.

So what is this show?

“Six people — three men and three women — move into a house together, but they are completely segregated from the opposite sex. Well, almost completely, that is — they are allowed to mix and mingle briefly, but only within the confines of a completely dark room, where looks are taken out of the equation. As the participants get to know each other, they get to decide who they’d like to see in the light of day. Once they see the person they’ve made a connection with, they have to decide whether to stay with that person, or to move on.”

It’s definitely an interesting twist on things. Can a true love connection be made if there is no physical attraction? Or will physical attraction grow with the emotional and mental connection?
