Like I’ve mentioned before, I absolutely love crime dramas. There is something about the techniques that criminalists and police and investigators and all those other jobs that I’m clueless about do. It really captures my attention and makes me want to delve into their minds, their jobs, and just do what they do.
Okay, not quite in the literal sense, because I’m squeamish and something about dead people, blood, guts, and… well, you get my picture. It would not float my boat. At all.
But I definitely get sucked in to the method of watching the clues unfold and it makes me happy in a silly way when it clicks in my brain before they come out and say, “he did it!”
Criminal Minds differs from many criminal system procedural dramas by focusing on the criminal rather than the crime itself. The show really investigates the various thought processes, usually behind serial criminals. The stories are focused on David Rossi, the BAU’s Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner, and the BAU unit staff.
The BAU will be facing one of it’s toughest cases yet.
Check out a preview:
CBS says about the season finale: “Criminal Minds: “To Hell…And Back” – Agent Rossi (Joe Mantegna, left), Agent Hotchner (Thomas Gibson, right) and the BAU track a serial killer who chooses junkies, prostitutes and the homeless off the streets of Detroit as his victims and takes them across the border into Canada, and an agent’s life is in peril, on the two-hour, fourth season finale event of CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, May 20 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”
Even if you’ve never caught an episode of the show before, why not tune in tonight? It is going to be good, and no backstory necessary to comprehend what’s going on! I can’t wait.
