If your like me and follow the show South Park religiously, you’ll be happy to hear that you now have another option when watching the show online. Netflix has now made the first 9 seasons of South Park available to watch instantly online. Reportedly Netflix met with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone awhile back, offering them a cash deal, apparently they took it.

Although you were already able to watch almost all episodes of the show via the official South Park website (which has generated 300 million views since April), this gives Netflix users a more convenient option. A huge advantage of watching the show on Netflix is the fact that you don’t have to deal with any commercials like over at South Park Studios.

If your looking for shows that are more family friendly, Netflix also just announced that they have added a bunch of Nickelodeon shows to the streaming section including episodes of “Blues Clues,” “Dora the Explorer,” “iCarly,” “True Jackson, VP,” and “SpongeBob SquarePants”. Now if only Netflix would add more new movies their streaming content. When that day arrives I’m completely ditching my Satellite Service, and will be known as the Online Video Guru. I can dream right?

Yesterday I was checking out the South Park Studio website, and to my surprise found out that Season 13 premieres tonight (March 11th) at 10pm. I guess I caught off guard because it seems like Season 12 just wrapped up with the episode that parodied the popular “Twilight” craze.

The premiere episode of South Park Season 13 tonight entitled “Kenny and His New Girlfriend” apparently pokes fun (maybe that’s a bit of an understatement) at the Jonas Brothers. Kenny takes his girlfriend to a Jonas Brothers concert in hopes of getting some action afterwords. To his dismay however they are each given purity rings, which obviously ruins his diabolical plan.

South Park is one of the few shows that just seems to get better as it ages and I have no doubt that this season will be the best yet. You can catch a preview of tonight’s episode on the South Park Studios website.
