On last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show, Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino flexed his chest muscles, causing Tom Bergeron to joke, “Bruno Tonioli just gave you a 10,” and proving that at least one part of his body can move with ease.

Sadly for The Situation that may have been the highlight of his week after he earned mostly fours. “I am not a dancer and this is definitely hard, ” he said. But neither his sincerity nor his rock hard abs could save him this week, and he was the celebrity sent packing.

Brooke Burke asked him how he felt about getting voted off. “You know what, I told myself, if I got eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night. If it was … I bow [out] gracefully,” he responded.

Bergeron asked The Situation to clarify the “heh, heh, heh,” response he’d given Burke earlier in the evening, when she asked if he thought the judges had been fair. “I really hoped [the scores] weren’t fours. But it is what it is and at the end of the day, someone’s got to go home. This is the fourth round and if I made it to the fourth round, then I did my best, I guess.”

Bergeron told Sorrentino, “You seem different here,” (in comparison to his Jersey Shore persona).

“I try to give what’s needed in the situation,” Sorrentino shrugged. “I’m not a dancer and this is definitely hard. On ‘Jersey Shore,’ you get a little keyhole of who I am. On ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ you really get the whole Situation.”

Dancing With the Stars airs Mon., 8PM ET on ABC. Results show airs Tues., 9PM ET on ABC.

It looks like “Monday Night Football” on ESPN and the baseball playoffs may have stolen some viewers from broadcast TV Monday considering “Hawaii Five-0,” “The Event” and “House,” all lost viewers compared to last week. Meanwhile, thanks to “Dancing With the Stars,” ABC still managed to stay on top.

ABC averaged 17.2 million viewers and a 10.9 rating/17 share in households. CBS, who came in second with 10.25 million, 6.4/10, was down about a million viewers from last week. FOX came in third with 7.55 million, 4.6/7 and NBC came in fourth with 5.6 million people and a 3.5/5. The CW drew 1.8 million viewers and a 1.2/2.

The cast of this season’s Dancing with the Stars has been revealed!

R & B singer Brandy, Dirty Dancing’s Jennifer Grey, comedian Margaret Cho, The Hills‘ Audrina Patridge, Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson and the country’s most famous teen mom, Bristol Palin will be representing for the ladies.

For the men, singer Michael Bolton, Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, David Hasselhoff, retired NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, Cory in the House actor Kyle Massey and retired basketball player/actor Rick Fox will all be competing.

The pro-celeb pairs will be announced tomorrow but one of the pros might not be dancing their way back on the show.  Edyta Sliwinska recently tweeted, “I decided it’s time to move on with my life, pursue other projects and finish school,” she tweeted on Monday night. “By the way my major is media and communication not dance as TMZ quoted.”

TMZ claims that there has been disputes between Edyta and the producers because she wants her husband, Alec Mazo, to be a bigger part of the show but she denies the claims. Even though Sliwinska says she won’t be back, she may not have a choice as she is still under contract.

Dancing with the Stars has a new co-host but its not much of a surprise. Brooke Burke, who previously appeared on the show as a contestant, has officially been named the new co-host of Dancing With The Stars.

On this morning’s Good Morning America, Tom Bergeron announced that Burke take over Samantha Harris’ role on the ABC competition series’ 10th season.

“She’ll be able to talk to the couples backstage with the perspective of having gone through it herself,” said Bergeron. “She looks OK, too.”

Burke, who participated and won Season 7, will host alongside Bergeron, as Harris did until her recent departure from the show.

The 38-year-old model is best known for E!’s Wild On! and her appearances in Playboy. She also hosted CBS’ summer reality show Rock Star.

Harris left the show to focus on her other on-air roles, as a correspondent for The Insider and Entertainment Tonight. “I’ve loved every aspect of my time at Dancing With the Stars,” She said. “I’ve lived and breathed this incredible show for the last eight seasons, making lifelong friends along the way. It has given me so many wonderful opportunities.”

The next season of Dancing With The Stars premieres March 22.

Samantha Harris, who has been a longtime co-host of “Dancing with the Stars”, is leaving the show.

Harris, 36, will not be returning for the series’ 10th season, which begins March 22, so she can focus on her other on-air roles. Harris also works as a correspondent for “The Insider” and “Entertainment Tonight”.

“I’ve loved every aspect of my time at Dancing With the Stars,” Harris said in a statement. “I’ve lived and breathed this incredible show for the last eight seasons, making lifelong friends along the way. It has given me so many wonderful opportunities.”

Her co-host, Tom Bergeron, said he’ll miss her but hopes she’ll come back to the show in another capacity. “I’ve been known to try to twist arms behind the scenes,” he said. “I’m hoping this frees her up for us to have her as a contestant.”

“Dancing With The Stars” executive producer Conrad Green wished Harris luck saying, “She’s done an incredible job. Some of the most memorable moments on the show have been facilitated by Samantha. I think we’ll all walk away with enormous happy memories of working with one another.”

Green also told People Magazine they are currently searching for Harris’ replacement. One possibility is Paula Abdul, who, according to TMZ, has been offered a lucrative development deal with ABC if she agrees to appear on “Dancing” this coming season. At this point, Abdul’s rep is not confirming the story.

Dancing With the Stars professional Kym Johnson will be heading to Broadway to make her debut with the high-octane ballroom dance show, Burn the Floor, at the Longacre Theatre.

Johnson was the professional dancer who partnered with Dancing With the Stars winner Donny Osmond.

Announced by producer Harley Medcalf earlier this week, the 33-year-old Australian beauty will partner with fellow Dancing With the Stars cast-mate Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy. Maks opened Burn the Floor on Broadway in August.

Both Johnson and Chmerkovskiy will be on Broadway through January 10th. Johnson also participated in the original Burn the Floor workshop in London in 1998 and toured around the world with the production.

Other TV dance personalities will also join the tour. Mary Murphy, a judge on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, along with two other Dancing With the Stars dancer, Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska, will join Burn the Floor.

“As a little girl growing up in Australia, my dream was to perform on Broadway,” said Johnson. “As an original cast member of Burn the Floor [in Australia], I’m so excited to make my Broadway debut by returning to the show and dancing with my friend Maks.”

Chmerkovskiy added in a statement: “Being on Broadway with Burn the Floor this summer was a highlight of my dance career, and it means a lot to me to be invited back for a longer run. It will be great to be able to share this experience with Kym.”

“From Harlem’s hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy, Foxtrot and Charleston were born, to the Latin Quarter where the Cha-Cha , Rumba and Salsa steamed up the stage, Burn the Floor takes audiences on a journey through the passionate drama of dance,” according to press notes. “The elegance of the Viennese Waltz, the exuberance of Jive, the intensity of the Paso Doble — audiences will experience them all, as well as the Tango, Samba, Mambo, Quickstep, and Swing. It’s Ballroom dance with a sexy 21st century edge.”

Burn the Floor will end its run on February 14th. Following its February closure, Burn the Floor will open in Melbourne, Australia the following week. Cities and dates for the U.S. tour will be announced shortly.
