I know I speak for nearly all who watched Kate and Jon plus 8 to the intense depth I did and are not responding to tabloids AFTER the fact, commenting on what they don’t really know, and so sadly, YOU, TLC, my beloved favorite station, to try to salvage what you might make after the fake person of the parents – Kate – the one you YOURSELVES seemed to respond to in various negative ways to her meanness to her husband. Apparently, your motive was, once you saw she just “might” play into the hollywood scene and upstage your station, thereby gaining notoriety and income for you, set out WITH her to visciosly destroy her husband who, you KNOW, without there would never have been a show – at any time had he decided enough of her meanness to him. NOW, that he has made it clear throughout the years – IF anyone listened, and certainly YOU heard it, he made it clear it was never his decision to have the broadcast, that he had no say in the matter, nor in the one to have just “one” more child (his exact word – “caved,”). You did not then nor will you now ever cause anyone who really watched this program create a love for a fake, evil, unbalanced woman and hatred for a man who has a kind heart, craved love, gave love liberally, truly loves his children – they are NOT trophy children to him as to their mom. No, you can’t glean any more money from his tolerant nature and willingness to be abused, and I’m appalled at your treatment of him. It hurts me. It hurts me for the station. I fear for those on it now. YOU owe Jon an apology and YOU as the network you pose to be should have encouraged them long ago to get counselling. ANYONE could see that Kate teeters on mental imbalance – even there, I could have respected you more had you encouraged her to get help.
