As Hannah Montana winds down, Billy Ray Cyrus has managed to find another job on one of his kid’s shows.
SyFy just announced that they are developing a new reality show with Billy Ray and his son Trace in which the father-son team will investigate conspiracy theories involving unexplained activity and paranormal phenomena.
In UFO: Unbelievably Freakin’ Obvious, the Cyrus’ will travel across the country offering skeptical solutions to many theories.
“Our audience craves authentic, compelling and informative storytelling that pushes the boundaries of our normal world,” said Mark Stern, head of programing for SyFy.
“Allegations of cover-up and conspiracy around unexplained phenomena has inspired heated debate for decades,” Stern said. “It will be interesting to see what truth Billy Ray and Trace may discover.”
“Getting the opportunity to take this adventure with my son, who has always had a keen interest in this area, is a dream come true,” said Billy Ray. “I hope this series can shine a light on some of the activities we have questioned, and the mysteries that have long inspired us.”
Trace, 21, has also followed in his father’s musical footsteps as the guitarist in the pop-rock band Metro Station, which disbanded earlier this year.
