CBS is still dominating the competition according to Nielsen’s recent ratings. The network accounted for 14 out of the top 15 entertainment shows including Monday night’s The Big Bang Theory and the network’s new sensation The Good Wife. Both Big Bang and Wife scored season highs and the Sunday-night Survivor finale bested last year’s finale.

CBS performed well in the 18-49 demographic. Charles Gibson’s last episode as host on ABC’s World News gave the show a rare win over competitor NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. Both shows had solid numbers throughout the week. The NBC newscast averaged 9.22 million and ABC’s newscast had 8.49 million. Overall, CBS averaged a 7.0 rating and 12-share.

NBC placed second with a 4.5/8. Fox followed with 4.1/7 with ABC nabbing a 3.1/5.

Over on cable, the Kardashians continued to deliver for the E! Entertainment network. Sunday night’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians special had 4.2 million viewers, the most-watched program in E! Entertainment’s history, Nielsen said.

Among the Spanish-language networks, Univision led with an average of 3.4 million viewers (1.7 rating, 3 share). TeleFutura had a 1.1 million average and Telemundo 960,000 (both 0.5, 1) and Azteca had 200,000 (0.1, 0).
