Now that The Cleaner has been officially canceled, the show’s star, Benjamin Bratt has some free time on his hands. So what’s a struggling TV star to do? In Benjamin’s case, you go back to your roots.

According to NBC, Bratt is returning to Law and Order. He will be reunited with his former boss Lt. Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson) for one episode. The network hasn’t announced a specific air date for the episode yet but it Bratt will be filming his scenes for the show sometime soon.

There is no word on whether or not Benjamin will return for more than on episode. Rey Curtis was always a favorite character and fans will surely be thrilled to have him back, even if its only for the one episode.

Law and Order is celebrating its 20th Anniversary and the monumental event will be celebrated by the Paley Center next month. The event will feature a discussion with Dick Wolf as well as clips and a special panel Q & A.
