TV is an ever evolving entity these days. Most viewers have been moving away from traditional programming sources and onto more innovative sites like Hulu for their entertainment needs. In addition, there’s another technology that’s rapidly spreading our favorite TV shows around: Widgets.

If there’s one thing TV networks love, it’s viral marketing, and social network sites like Facebook have been incredibly successful in making popular shows more available. As an example, Beet.TV recently interviewed San Francisco based iWidgets CEO Peter Yared about the importance of widgets and it’s future cohesion with it’s traditional counterpart.

He goes on to point out that the company’s strategy is doing incredible things for CSI and other shows. What do you guys think? Do you spend more of your time these days looking for TV on your local social network like MySpace and Facebook?
