This month the American Idol Season 5 finalist, Paris Bennett (a.k.a., Princess P) has two things to be thankful for: a healthy baby girl and her first Christmas album! After 5 hours of labor, Paris and her fiancée welcomed their daughter, Egypt Bennett into this world at 3:36pm on Monday, October 6. Egypt weighed 5 lbs., 15 oz.

“I’m so excited to finally see my little angel — and man, does she have lungs on her. I guess she’s gearing up to be the next American Idol,” Paris told People.

Not only did God bless this beautiful American Idol Season 5 finalist with a healthy baby girl, but she has even more to celebrate as her Christmas album entitled “A Royal Christmas” will be released on October 14.

Since finishing in 5th place on American Idol Season 5, Paris Bennett has appeared in two films and released her debut album, “Princess P,” in May 2007. Although “Princess P” didn’t earn Paris any radio hits, the debut album did sell over 15,000 copies.
