The following is a guest post from Onlocationvacations.com:
Since ABC moved “Ugly Betty” from its prime Thursday night time slot to Fridays at 9 PM EST, the show’s rating have taken a nosedive.
Friday night, the series reached an all-time low with only 4.45 million viewers, dropping 310,000 from the week before. This is much lower than its biggest network competitor, “Medium”, which brought in 8.01 million viewers for CBS.
But, ABC hasn’t given up on the show yet. There is talk that the network might move “Betty” to the more desirable Wednesday, 10 PM slot opened up by the recently canceled “Eastwick”.
Not to mention, “Betty” continues filming around New York City, a sign that ABC hasn’t totally lost faith in everyone’s favorite young go-getter.
Tomorrow, “Ugly Betty” will be filming around Washington Square Park, near the corner of University Pl & Waverly Pl in
New York City. The shoot is scheduled to last all day though there is no word on which cast members will be there.
Are you still watching “Ugly Betty” or do you think its time for the show to go?
