I love Goats. They are fantastic little creatures. I love YouTube. It’s a voyeurs dream. Combine the two and you get this. So what do you do if you want to have this with you in case of a rainy day, or want to send it to a friend, or want to just have it on your computer in a convenient form, but don’t have an offline video conversion tool, or the time to get one. You got to one of the three sites below, and ignore the fourth.

Movavi has a version of their video conversion tools you can buy. I don’t care AT ALL about that. We’re going to talk about the free online version. Very straight forward conversion, but you can add up to ten videos, so if your watching movies in little bite sized pieces, you can download them all, then you can mash them all together into one large file. This is nice, and they had to know exactly what people were going to use it for. They have a large list of file types to convert to. Not bad. It will email you when it’s done.

Tubefish has a few neat features, but due to the top three in their Hot Categories, I’ll never use it. This is a good example of how editorial control would allow the internet to make me feel a little less dirty and stupid. The neatest feature of Tubefish is the big list of recently added video. This adds a little content to the site and inevitably you end up browsing. I did this, until I got over to the “Hot Categories” section. The First three categories, and no, I am not kidding, where, Music Videos, Sex Videos, Saddam Videos. Tunes, Porn, Snuff. What I never wanted to admit about the internets.

Mux has pretty normal conversion, but it will also grab stuff off your PC. Once you set it up, you can put in your email if you don’t have time to wait (good utilization of this feature) I like the UI. It’s cute. Anything with a robot makes me want to buy a T-Shirt. And my brother just informed me, in a very confused way that he got the goat I sent him. You see, Mux has this neat little private share option that allows you to send a video from your PC to a friend. Now everyone will see the goat. Power mode lets you get all specific with the settings. Most people won’t need this, but it’s cool. All in all, Mux is definitely my favorite.

Zamzar-blew up my screen with ads. I am going to suggest you do NOT go there, because by the time I got rid of all the screen trash I was so angry that I had zero interest in reviewing their product. Angry. I understand you have to make a living, but come on!
