Well, it’s finally here, 24 Season 7 has officially premiered on FOX tonight after a year long delay. We can all thank the Writers Guild of America Strike for causing the delay. If you didn’t catch the 24 prequel called “24 Redemption” that lead up to season 7 basically Jack somehow ended up as washup in Africa. However he just can’t seem to get a break because he ends up in the middle of a big military coup. Redemption was created to bridge the gap between season 6 and 7 and takes place about 3 years after season 6.

In 24 Season 7 Episode 1, CTU has been disbanded and Jack is back in the US and faces persecution for actions he took while chasing bad guys in the past. We also start to learn about a terrorist plot intended to cripple the nations computer infrastructure. Episodes 1 and 2 will premiere on the same night (Sunday January 11th), and then the third and 4th episodes of the season will premiere on Monday January 12th.

Although 24 Season 7 has a lot to live up to, there is no doubt in my mind that this is going to be one of the best seasons of 24 yet. I think the best is yet to come with 24 and the never ending action shows no signs of slowing down.
